| Saturday the 16th of January was the date for the Mark Ladies evening for WM Peter Maxwell and his wife Julie, as 60 of us gathered at the Park House Hotel in Blackpool to have a fantastic time. |

| Not every Mark Lodge has a Ladies evening, but ours was brought back this year by the really hard work put in by Peter & Julie, who invited many family and friends to swell the numbers. We were also supported by our ProvGM Keith Beardmore, and his lady June, who also invited Bill and Denise Ainsworth. John Forster, our very hard-working Special Representative for our area, brought Sue along in support. We do hope your foot gets better soon Sue, and so sorry it stopped you dancing. |

| The evening sparkled in the basement of the Park House Hotel, in a setting that resembled a starlit Arabian tent.... the food was excellent, and the company even better. |

| Thanks to Randall Boyd and Vineyard, the entertainment was first class, and went on until after 1am, at which time the carriages took us home in a winter wonderland of newly fallen snow. The perfect end to a perfect evening! |
